4 years ago at the World Travel Market our then travel technology provider informed us of imminent plans to retire our booking platform.
After the initial panic, we started looking for a replacement — but found nothing flexible enough to handle bespoke accommodation contracts and 3rd party suppliers simultaneously. So we built one!
Hence AiTravel Tech was born — a platform that dramatically reduces the time and effort required to run and grow our business, whilst handing us full control over all elements of our business.
I (Robin) have spent last 18 years in the travel industry running a niche OTA and Tour Operator (Sunny Escapes) with directly contracted accommodation. I have seen and manually loaded thousand of hotels and hotel rates, whilst integrating with 3rd party supply. As a small business, connectivity has always been a challenge. The cost, the delays, and the reliance on multiple channel partners made it hard to move quickly.
AiTravel Tech was built to remove those barriers.
